Who We’re Called to Reach

Established Professionals

Those who belong to this class of people are single as well as married and have earned success in their careers, and are economically able to live and raise their families in the city.

Students from every age group

Several universities, community colleges and schools are located in St. Johns County. We want to reach as many students as possible with the gospel.

Everyone who needs a growing relationship in Christ.

Roughly 39% of those who live in St. Johns County attend church. This means over 200,000 still either aren’t following Christ and or need to find a church family. We want to be that family.

Meeting the Greatest Need

Three issues burden our hearts when we look at the spiritual landscape of St. Johns County . These issues are highlighted in three stages of a person’s spiritual journey: lostness, self sufficient living and those who left the church.

The Bridge will approach this through:

Gospel Rescue

There are many people who are lost that need to be rescued by the gospel. We have been entrusted with this message of good news to bring to all people and we will. We desire to be part of the gospel rescue in St. Johns County starting by taking the gospel to every heart and home in our community.

Gospel Renewal

We need a renewing of the heart and affections for Jesus Christ to combat a prevailing self-sufficient lifestyle. A treasuring of Jesus as more than merely savior, but also sovereign Lord and King of our lives. A gospel renewal in the hearts of believers who have not been following Jesus is what we aim to achieve through intentional one-on-one disciple making.

Gospel Restoration

We want to be a church that restores people's lives by connecting them to Christ and then into a gospel centered community where they can truly become the person that God created them to be.
