How it all started...
Scott and Melissa are not new to church planting. In 2011 they planted The Bridge Ministries in central Ohio. They pastored there for 14 years before hearing and heeding God’s call in 2025 to move to Jacksonville, Florida and plant a new church. Scott has a master's degree from Ohio Christian University and is endorsed by NAMB. Scott and Melissa have 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They have two children still at home Analily 13 and Judah 8. They are so excited to step into this stage of life and to grow God’s Kingdom.
The goal is to plant this new church in St. Johns County by September of 2026. By strategically locating ourselves in the community, we will have the opportunity to reach, love, and serve people that are ripe for spiritual harvest! By God’s grace, we seek to plant a church that will bring the hope of the gospel to our neighborhood and the surrounding communities that are growing so rapidly. There is a deep discernment that God is up to something big in St. Johns County and we are thankful to be part of His amazing work.
